Its been a while since Marc Jacobs, the creative director at Louis Vuitton, brought Takashi Murakami to collaborate on a collection with the luxury brand. In any case you don’t remember, here are some of the pieces of that collection.
Well, now Marc Jacobs is collaborating with Yayoi Kusama to implement in the LV designs the artist’s signature dots. Expect to see dots in LV clothes, accessories and leather goods.
Clothes and accessories including pajamas, trenchcoats and jewelry, will be available at Louis Vuitton stores starting July 10. Then, on October, more pieces like monogram leather goods will debut.
There are good news to our fashionistas on a budget. If the limited edition pieces are too high for you, Louis Vuitton is launching an iPad app where you can take photos and then customize them with Kusama motifs. How Amazing is that? There will also be pop-up shops in department stores and what the brand likes to describe “shocking” window displays. We can’t wait to see them.
What do you think of these items? will you buy them? they are considered collector’s items!
