Time goes by so fast in the fashion industry. In a few months we will be seeing all of this fall fashion in stores, or better yet in a few weeks a lot of it you will most likely be able to purchase on the amazing website Moda Operandi! So let me get to it. Here are my two favorite collections from this season. Yes there were plenty of other ones I loved but these two really stand behind something I believe in and is very empowering to women! Especially those of us who are working 24/7 on creating something innovative!
I hope you enjoy!

1. 3.1 Phillip Lim
Phillip Lim focused on his core clientele, a new generation of professional women with funds to invest on work-appropriate pieces.
This modern view of femininity was manifested in sculpted jackets, statement sweaters and tailored trousers, while a palette of black, white and a range of greys led drew attention to layering and optic color-blocking.
2. Calvin Klein
Clean modernity, but with a monastic streak that showed up through covered-up leather dresses, modest popcorn knit tops, and full-skirted frocks with sheer panels.
New work was primarily about the waist. Accentuated with belts, peplums and precise pintucks, wool dresses and overcoats were hourglass-shaped feminine classics.
Rounded shoulders and stiff funnel necks created a strong line, furthering the impact of nipped middles.
